Steel City Improv Theater is coming to an end as we know it. Celebrate an improv theater the only way improvisers know how: by getting up on stage and being weird, goofy, and following your instincts!

BYOT is simple. Show up to the theater, and bring some friends. Put the name of an improv team into a hat. It could be a team you already play on. A team you've always wanted to put together. A team you make up right there, at the BYOT. A team made up of people at the BYOT who don't know they're about to perform together. The host will draw names out of the hat, and the called teams go up on stage to do improv!

EVERYTHING GETS ON STAGE.

ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

No idea is too silly, too wild, to absurd. Whether you've been doing improv for years, are just starting out, or are saying, "Hey, I wanna try that!" Do an improv set in a form you always wanted to try! With people you've never played with before! Do a set with your mouth crammed with SCITMints! Put together a team of only divorced people! Do a set where no one is allowed to walk! Force feed your scene partner uncooked pasta on stage! (These have all happened at BYOTs before- bring your own ideas, too!)
